Clairmise, a sweet, gracious young lady who lives with 11 other people in a home smaller than a two-car garage. She dreams of becoming a police officer one day. A goal that we in North America would find easy to achieve with a little hard work and determination. While Clairmise is a determined young lady, the challenges she faces to achieve this goal are difficult to comprehend. Challenges like, paying for school, books, uniforms and testing fees. Having enough food to stay healthy and alert in school. Her father has a small garden that helps provide food for his family and the community. While the recent hurricane Matthew destroyed all the crops in October, by God's grace and hard work, the garden is starting to grow again. But it is not enough to provide for all those living in the home. Clairmise and her family need our help. For only $37.00 a month, you can help make sure that Clairmise can attend school with all the necessities and have at least one hot meal a week at Bible club SOLEDHA. Sponsors will receive periodic updates and information about the child, translated communications from the child directly, as well as opportunities to join Leve Project on mission trips to meet the children.
Help put Clairmise on the path of education that can break the cycle of poverty in her future and for her family. Click on the Sponsor a Child link above to read more about Clarimise Jean-Phillipe and others like her to become a child sponsor today!
